  1. I've been a customer for more than 2 yrs. I bought it for my face, now use it over my whole body. Lather is wonderful. The sulfur scent got some getting use to, but now strangely I like it as does my husband. He uses it instead of Lava for his hands.

I'd like to see you guys answer your emails better, but that's about it. I always can't wait till my shipment arrives after ordering, that's how much we like it.

  2. A co-worker gave me a bar to try. I'm allergic to sulfa so I was a little leery about using it. It didn't seem to cause any reactions. I'm fifty years old and suddenly have break outs in the chin area. This soap seemed to help calm things down a good deal. My 29 year old daughter is having problems with breakouts and I let her try the soap, she likes it also.

  3. I was wondering if you would recommend using for tinea versicolor? I get it on my back and stomach. I wanted to try something natural instead of chemical prescriptions. I just started using it, it seems like its working, but wanted to know if anyone else has used it for this purpose. THANKS!!

  4. This soap is great. I am 61 and have been using it as an adjunct to low dose antibiotics to help with rosaceous acne. It really helps to keep the flare ups down. I am also bald and use it on the top of my head to help with occasional breakouts. Most all of these conditions were caused by sun damage.
Speaking of that, I had an intense case of tenea Versicolor when I wasin my late teens and working as a lifeguard. The dermatolagist that i use Selsun shampoo, lather up the area affected before going to bed and let it dry. repeat for 3 days.
I am serious, it disappeared forever.

  5. Love your Sulfur Soap. I have rosacea and use it in conjunction with antibiotics. It doesn't dry out my skin and I have been free from breakouts since I started using it (just within the last month). This stuff is great! Thanks!

  6. Just placed my second bulk order for Sal-3. I found your product when philosophy discontinued the cleanser I was using which contained sulphur. Their replacement didn't fight my breakouts at all! I tried one bar of Sal-3 and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked and how inexpensive it was. Now, 12 bars later, I'm still a believer and user.

  7. I own a modeling agency and after having my own success with sulfur soap (which was recommended to me by my Dermatologist) I now recommend it to my models. They travel nonstop and endure long hours of thick makeup under the hot lights, after awhile even they get breakouts, which means they have to turn away bookings. Sulfur soap is now our secret weapon! My own daughter, who is an athlete, was getting breakouts from sweat, she too has been getting a more clear complexion! Who needs expensive hype from big names? Sulfur soap has proved itself to me, and I'm the biggest critic of ALL!

  9. I am very interested in using this soap, but I am a little nervous. I am allergic to Sulfa, and wondered if this soap would cause an allergic reaction???

  10. well if no answer for that can i atleast ask how to apply the sulfur cream? it has no suggested use on the container.

  11. Well, what I do to apply the sulfur cream is to clean the skin first and rinse and pat dry. Then gently apply the cream with fingers making sure not to overapply, I just work it into the skin. I use it a lot like I would any lotion like Intensive Care etc. I guess a lot depends on where you are applying the lotion and how much you need. If in doubt, just ask a medical professional.

  12. My son contracted a contagious skin infection that was misdiagnosed three times before we found out what it was. A alternative doctor told me to try sulfur soap. I bought the product and was thrilled with the results.

  13. This is a great all purpose soap. I took it on a backpacking trip to New Zealand in 2006, since I could use it for my face, body, and hair. Since its solid, there is no chance of leakage in your luggage. Great stuff, back then, age 18-19, it really helped with my acne. Now I am buying another bar to help with dandruff issues.

  14. To Charlie:
you just use the sulfur cream as a lotion and do not rinse it off? i thought you can only allow these sulfur products to stay on your skin for a limited time or you might get burned? i thought i had ringworm and used alot of the sulfur cream on my chest and it burned and made it all read for a few weeks, tell the calimine lotion solved what i thought was ringworm issue, it was just a reaction to new laundry soap i think.lol

  15. After researching the web for an answer for "Smelly Scalp", overly oily scalp/hair/ facial skin I came across your product. I just wonder if anyone else is using it for this purpose, how well it works, and if so do you know of a laundry product that will remove the smell from my linens etc. I really need to find something to aid in my situation.

  16. I have used the sulfur ointment and sulfur soap from sulfurointment.com, and have been very happy with the results. I have also ordered 5 pounds of sulfur from online and made my own sulfur ointment, I was not happy with the results, as my own sulfur ointment seemed largely ineffective. Also the sulfur from sulfoint.com seemed to smell more than what I ordered. Im thinking the smell in this case is a good thing and lack of smell is a bad thing. The ointment I made was a little over 15% sulfur, and seemed to blend quite well with the lotion I used. I was just wondering why it did not work any where near as well as the sulfur ointment from sulfurointment.com

  17. I have used sulfursoap for several years especially in the spring and summer. I live in North Central Texas and West Texas and the chiggers, bitting flies, and fire ants hurt and can cause infections. The old only thing the works to take the itch away and heal the sore is surfer soap. Johnson and Johnson drug co. made a sulfur scrub that worked wonders, but it has not been made since the late sixties. Yes, I am that old, but I was a child then. Sulfur soap works just as good if not better. That johnson and johnson product used to work on my eczema and sulphur soap is better. Joel C. Fort Worth, Texas

  18. I wouldn't know if it's good or not. I ordered my soap back in Jan 2011 and it's now July 2011 and I have yet to receive it. My numerous phone calls, voice messages, and emails were never returned until an email I sent warning them that I'll report them to the BBB. That's when they responded and said they'll look into it. Even with several follow up calls, that was the last and only time I heard from them. Forget the soap, it's the dishonesty that bothers me most. There are so many legit businesses out there. Don't waste your time, money, and frustration with this people like I did. My patience is gone and I'm spreading the word. Stay clear of this company. I should've listened to other reviewers.

  22. I love this soap. I buy it in bulk! I would love it even more if you made a version of Sulfur+Tea tree oil. I can't do salicylic acid, but I love tea tree oil and it really helps my skin condition.

I would also love it if you made cute little trial sized bars for travel. =)

  23. I have not yet used the product. Just put in my first order, but I agree with geektrix. A soap made with Sulphur and tea tree oil would be awesome!

  24. I love the SAL-3 Sulfur Soap! I originally ordered my first purchase back in December and my face cleared up completely. I didn't order more until now, the reason I did again is because my face is completely broken out now. I can't wait until my product arrives so I can feel good about myself again :) thank you sulfursoap.com!
